Event Save The Date

Research and development program RESTART,  “RESearch and innovation on future Telecommunications systems and networks, to make Italy more smart,” is pleased to invite the national community involved in Telecommunications (academia, research institutions, industries in the sector and users) to the Plenary Dissemination Workshop to be held in Bari, Italy, on July 20-21, 2023: a public event where the results achieved so far will be presented and further activities will be defined together.

RESTART, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, has the ambitious goal of helping to outline the evolution of Telecommunications in Italy, and to revive a sector that has professionalism and experience at the level of world excellence.

The research and development program is both an opportunity and a tool available to the community: there is a need for ideas that will take advantage of this tool and people who will implement these ideas. These ideas and people can come from current partners, those who will become partners as a result of the competitive procedures that will be published (cascading calls), but also from universities, research organizations, industries in the field, and users of Telecommunications technology who wish to make suggestions or cooperate.

The event, developed over two days, will be held in Room A of the Politecnico di Barivia Orabona 4, Bari – with the following time slot:

  • Thursday, July 20, 2023 | 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, July 21, 2023 | 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

For more information, please see the flyer and detailed program of the event attached at the bottom of the page.

I hope that this meeting in Bari will be fruitful and useful to continue along the road we have chosen to travel.

-Nicola Blefari Melazzi, RESTART Foundation President
