RESTART patronages the 4th International Workshop ENS 2025 | June 23-27, 2025, Budapest
The International Workshop on Edge Network Softwarization (ENS) is back in 2025, now in its fourth edition, to be held in Budapest from 23 to 27 June, as part of IEEE NetSoft 2025. A well-established event for the scientific and industrial community interested in the evolution of intelligent and distributed networks.
RESTART Foundation, which has been promoting the development of advanced digital infrastructures for years, enthusiastically renews its patronage of the initiative.
With the advent of 6G and the growing integration of Artificial Intelligence, the workshop will focus on how the softwarization of the network at the edge is redefining the paradigms of digital infrastructure, ensuring increasingly reliable, flexible and scalable performance.
The sessions will address key topics:
- Edge orchestration and dynamic resource management
- Traffic engineering and uCPE monitoring
- Programmable technologies (P4, eBPF, XDP)
- Edge networking for ultra-low-latency applications (VR/AR, Tactile Internet)
- Complex operational contexts (non-terrestrial, underwater, underground environments)
ENS 2025 is a unique opportunity to consolidate synergies between universities, companies and institutions, creating a common basis to address the challenges of the edge network of the future.
