/ July 24, 2025/ Senza categoria

RESTART, in collaboration with ANFoV and Il Quadrato della Radio, is organizing a workshop dedicated to Technology Transfer in the Telecommunications sector for SMEs on October 10 at the Hilton Turin Centre Hotel.

Objectives

  • To share experiences of technology transfer that have led to the success of some companies in Italy, in the telecommunications business or enabled by it, with particular reference to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which make up a large part of the Italian industrial fabric.
  • To discuss the various ways of achieving effective technology transfer to enable companies, and SMEs in particular, to innovate, or acquire innovation from the academic world or technology start-ups, or even co-innovate with these entities in order to transfer products and commercial solutions to these SMEs to develop their business and grow in an increasingly competitive global environment.

Program | From 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • The morning will feature a plenary session to present some successful experiences of Italian SMEs in different contexts and with different methods of technology transfer. This part aims to recount these experiences, discussing the factors that led to success, as well as the mistakes from which these companies learned. The account of these experiences is valuable in sharing lessons learned and inspiring other SMEs. The program will seek to represent diverse experiences of technology transfer, i.e., those arising from innovation generated and supported internally within the company, or co-generated through collaborative relationships with external research institutions, such as universities or public research centers of various kinds, or acquired through university startups or spinoffs.
  • The afternoon will feature parallel thematic workshops, designed to allow each participant to meet with the morning speakers and other entrepreneurs or managers of companies of various sizes to discuss technology transfer. The experience of the RESTART program will be an important part of the discussion in the various afternoon workshops.
