Seminar “Regulatory aspects of drones in telecommunications scenarios” | May 10, 2024
Organized by the RESTART S11 – ITA NTN project and Eng. Giuseppe Virone, the seminar “Regulatory Aspects on the Use of Drones in Telecommunication Scenarios” will explain the latest version of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations on the use of drones in urban, suburban and rural environments in relation to the presence of people and the weight of the drone itself.
The certification requirements of the drone system including payload, firmware, software and related safety and identification devices will also be introduced.
Speaker: Andrea Berton is Head of the REMOTE Additional Service (Research using ReMOTE Technologies in Earth Sciences) of the Research Area of the National Research Council (CNR) in Pisa and CNR Sole Contact Person for relations with ENAC and ENAV entities.
